“Magnificent with great views of the ocean” As we reminisce about our visits to Puerto Vallarta Krystal International Vacation Club our persistent thoughts are ones of warm enjoyment and friendly faces. The short inexpensive flight down from Phoenix AZ to the Puerto Vallarta airport and even shorter ride in a clean and safe cab to the main entrance at Krystal makes the “getting there” an easy and pleasant experience. Our check in experience is always more like coming home to meet good friends and family than a resort front desk event. The Bell staff is friendly quick and efficient at directing you to not only your room but exceptionally helpful in explaining the new small village you have come to visit on the shores of Bandaras Bay. Everywhere you look there is lush landscaping and well kept buildings and water features. One of our favorite features is the hand laid stone walks and roadways. Each area is a work of handsome handcrafted art. The rooms are always magnificent with great views of the ocean, bay or one of the beautiful pools. We always try to bring friends or family to share the great atmosphere, food, drinks and waterside relaxation. We have so many good choices of things to see and do without even leaving the property. We schedule at least one spa day and another just relaxing at the swim-up bar pools. The friendly people who are also guests at the Krystal make us feel like we are at the local coroner watering hole. The most taxing chore is deciding where to eat and visit. An inexpensive quick cab trip to downtown and you can have fine Mexican food from family restaurants, fine French food in an elegant bistro atmosphere or hearty German fare in the romantic district. We have watched the sunset over the end of the bay from a roof top café followed by a great dinner inside the quaint not too hidden café. However, some of our best meals have been right at the Krystal property, everything from elegant dinning with pillows under the ladies feet to great on the beach dinning watching the sunset. Trips arranged by the concierge at the KIVC have added excitement and depth to the visits to PV. Trips on the Pirate ship sunset dinner cruse, eco tours through the treetops and fishing trip on small local boats are all vivid memories of our stays at Puerto Vallarta Krystal. Each time we rebook our next visit to Krystal we find a new reason to come back with friends. The recent improvements and choices of accommodations continue to make this our number one out of the country vacation choice. Frank and Jackie Lamphere |
