“The moment we arrived at the Krystal Hotel we fell in love”

We all know that Mexico vacation spots in general, are great escapes. But is there such a thing as “love at first sight?” 

One winter morning we were looking at the travel section of our local newspaper; we were dreaming of warmth! When one goes to bed with socks on, it is sad….very sad. We chose Puerto Vallarta.

The moment we arrived at the Krystal Hotel we fell in love. The unique yellow dome…the courtesy of the staff…

To tell the truth we spent at least four days relaxing at the beautiful pools and ocean side (because the staff was so warm and welcoming) before we finally summoned up the energy to “travel” into town.

For a measly $.50 US we had the ride of our lives (the bus drivers are maniacal according to the tourists, but we’ve never felt worried – they drive fast and are skilled – it is not to be missed!). Take the bus into El Centro! It was an experience we chose again and again.

The Malecon is beautiful. Sunday night is “family” night and not to be missed. There is SO much to do there; a person can shop until they drop; enjoy the lovely scenery and eat at the fabulous local restaurants (we do have our favorites).

The decision to buy the timeshare was based on our complete love of this place.
