“Every inch of the resort resembles a magnificent garden.” When my wife and I think of the Krystal Vallarta, we think of total relaxation, of enjoying a beautiful hotel and resort, of drinking in an intoxicating atmosphere, and of having a multitude of hotel staff who are all interested in making sure that our every need is met. Our family has been going to the Krystal Vallarta off-and-on since about 1993. We have been timeshare members since that time and have upgraded our unit on more than one occasion to take full advantage of this wonderful resort. This resort is laid-out on 32 beautiful acres of well-manicured land. Every inch of the resort resembles a magnificent garden. As for its location, The Krystal Vallarta is ideally situated between the Marina District and center of town. Its location provides for an easy taxi drive to just about anywhere in the city and the taxis are easy to obtain since they line up at the front door of the resort. Taxi fares are cheap in Puerto Vallarta compared to other major cities, but if you want to find an even cheaper mode of transportation, travel as the locals do by riding the city bus which also comes to the front of the hotel every few minutes. The swimming pools are fantastic and world-class. Our family has always been impressed by the main pool and its seven towering columns. We have noticed that this pool and its majestic columns are almost always shown in movies and advertisements showing the beauty of Puerto Vallarta. This marvelous setting is equally beautiful during the daylight hours as it is during the darkened evening hours. Regarding the opportunity for entertainment, when we were last there, we attended the Mexican Fiesta which was located at the resort. The Fiesta was truly spectacular. We were so impressed that the main musical group was the Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan, widely acknowledged as the best Mariachi band in the world. Their musicianship was outstanding and only served to complement the other offerings of the Fiesta, which was the well-prepared food and drink. In the past, we have sent our adult daughter and her friends for a week’s vacation, and we are sending my cousins to the Krystal Vallarta for a weeklong vacation in October of this year. My wife and I plan to visit the resort again in February of 2011. So, what does this all mean? It means that we have nothing but good memories of our visits to the Krystal Vallarta and that we will continue to travel there regularly in the future. It will be hard to wait the six months until our next visit. Lawrence (Larry) and Jody Valadez |
