Krystal Memories

As we looked out of the window flying into Cancun, our hearts raced with excitement as this was our first trip to paradise.  After living in Arizona for fifteen years, the beautiful beaches and crystal blue water below us was a refreshing sight.  We couldn't wait to walk barefoot in the sand with the ocean water splashing at our feet. How fun and exciting this vacation would be. 

We landed, gathered our luggage and jumped into our rented car, heading for a week of adventure in Cancun.  When we arrived at the Krystal, we were greeted by the friendliest staff, eager to help in any way.  We were wide-eyed and in awe as we walked into the entrance of the most beautiful place we had ever seen. 

Glimmering marble floors, staircases... marble everywhere, the resort was huge ~  all immaculate.  Beautiful floral arrangements were throughout the lobby ~ it was breathtaking. 

After checking in, we were escorted to our two bedroom suite, which was so beautiful.   We walked through the rooms, each one with a balcony which we walked out on to.  What an incredible ocean view ~ we were mesmerized.  Once settled, we headed down to the lobby to a reception for the timeshare owners.  Such a beautiful spread.  Lots of good food and drinks. We  were told of all of the weeks activities and different tours  and outings we could attend if we so desired.  We were ready to start our adventure!

Following the reception, we went back up to our room , unpacked, got into our bathing suits and headed straight for the beach, which was a stones throw from the resort. Some  people were lounging on the beach, some throwing frisbees, while others were relaxing under the shade of a palapa , sipping a cool drink.  T he  sky was as blue as the ocean and the temperature was perfect.  The  resort had  beautiful swimming pools ~ several of them, including one with a "swim-up bar" !   How fun! 

We were also excited to see that there was an "open- air" restaurant on site that we could enjoy some of the most amazing Mexican dishes ~ while we looked out at the ocean and watched the waves roll in ~  how beautiful the scenery was and how delicious the food was! We  played in the pools for awhile, and once again went back to our room to shower and get ready for a night out .  There are so many things to see and do in Cancun.  The town sparkles like diamonds in the night.  There's  so many restaurants to choose from, several malls to shop at, and so many vendors to look at their wares ~ more souvenirs than you can imagine to take home with you!

Our week was a week like no other.  From one adventure to the next....we had so much fun....but we don't want to tell you everything ~ We want you to make your own "Krystal Memories"  and visit here someday ~ it's  the vacation of a lifetime....do it !
